Reportedly, Sen. Bob Corker (R), who announced he would not seek a third term in September, may be reconsidering that choice. While he is apparently holding meetings to discuss a possible reversal of his retirement decision, others close to him say he will stand by his earlier pronouncement. Even if he were to run, the Senator might find the road to re-nomination a difficult one. Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Brentwood) already has amassed a little over $4.6 million and led Mr. Corker substantially in the one poll that tested them in a hypothetical one-on-one match-up.
