While national pundits and a great many Democratic strategists believe their best shot of winning a special election comes in Georgia, Montana Democratic nominee Rob Quist continues to impress. The Quist campaign reports that fundraising has increased from $754,000 to $1.3 million as their television ads already continue to run. Republican Greg Gianforte has huge personal resources, so he will have little problem with funding. The special election, scheduled for May 25th, could well become the sleeper election for which the Democrats hope. This campaign merits closer national attention.
