2020 Senate Endorsements

Sen. Susan Collins
R-Maine
https://www.susancollins.com/
Status: Won (51.1%)
Despite winning with 68% of the vote the last time she was on the ballot in 2014, Sen. Susan Collins (R) is in a tough re-election fight with state House Speaker Sara Gideon (D-Freeport). Even though Maine is a small state, this is a national race. Sen. Collins trails slightly in most polling but is very much alive to win a fifth term.
Since her first election to the U.S. Senate in 1996, Sen. Collins works across party lines to get things done. For the past six years, Collins ranks as the most bipartisan member of the U.S. Senate by the Lugar Center and Georgetown University. She chairs the Senate Aging Committee and the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Subcommittee. She also serves on the Intelligence and the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committees. Sen. Collins ranks twelfth in Senate seniority and has never missed a vote in 23 years in office – the longest perfect voting record in the history of the U.S. Senate.
Her issue priorities and legislative accomplishments are in the important areas of homeland security, national defense, disaster response, education, business development, healthcare and issues affecting the senior community.
