Brian Fitzpatrick
The BIPAC Action Fund announced its endorsement of incumbent Brian Fitzpatrick for his re-election campaign to the U.S. House of Representatives in Pennsylvania's newly redistricted 1st congressional district in April 2018.

After dedicating his professional life to the service and protecting others, Brian Fitzpatrick was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 2016.  In the 115th Congress, Brian is a member of the Foreign Affairs, Homeland Security and Small Business committees. Brian is the founding member of the Congressional Citizen Legislature Caucus, a bipartisan group of lawmakers committed to fighting for term limits and Congressional reforms, and a member of the No Labels ‘Problem Solver Caucus.’ His top priorities in Congress are increasing economic opportunity and keeping our nation safe.  He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, Emergency Medical Technician as well as an attorney - having previously served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney focused on drug crimes.

George Holding (R–North Carolina 2)

6/26/2018

George Holding
The BIPAC Action Fund announced its endorsement of incumbent George Holding for his re-election campaign to the U.S. House of Representatives in North Carolina's 2nd congressional district on March 9, 2018.

A key member of the House Ways & Means Committee with a seat on the important Tax Policy Subcommittee, Mr. Holding is a Congressman who helps define economic and revenue policies.  However, in a district that could become increasingly competitive if a redistricting change becomes necessary as a result of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Wisconsin gerrymandering case, Mr. Holding must also work to strengthen his electoral prospects in this cycle.

George Holding was first elected to office in 2012. In Congress, he has a perfect 100% pro-business rating on the major rating indices since 2016, inclusive. The National Journal ranked him the 2nd most conservative member of Congress.

Prior to his election, Mr. Holding practiced law, served as a US Attorney, an Assistant US Attorney, and as a staff member for United States Senator Jesse Helms (R-NC).

Randy Hultgren (R-Illinois 14)

6/19/2018

Randy Hultgren
The BIPAC Action Fund announced its endorsement of Randy Hultgren for his re-election campaign in the U.S. House of Representatives for Illinois' 14th congressional district on January 31, 2018.

Born and raised in Illinois, and having spent more than 20 years serving Illinois and its citizens at multiple levels of government, Congressman Randy Hultgren represents the state’s 14th Congressional District.  The district is comprised of seven suburban counties including McHenry, Lake, Kendall, Kane, DuPage, DeKalb and Will.

In Washington, Congressman Hultgren has committed himself to working for fiscal sanity, real healthcare reform, and pro-growth policies that will put Americans back to work.  In the current 115th Congress, Randy serves on the House Financial Services and Science, Space & Technology Committees.  Randy was elected to the DuPage County Board and County Forest Preserve Board in 1994, to the Illinois House of Representatives in 1999, and to the Illinois Senate in 2007.  At every level, he has fought for prosperity and free enterprise and for smaller, smarter government.

Randy served on the Financial Institutions Committees in the Illinois House and Senate and is credentialed in FINRA Series 7, 6 and 63.  He later became a Vice President at Performance Trust Investment Advisors in Chicago.

He graduated from Bethel College in 1988 and later attended Chicago-Kent College of Law, graduating in 1993.

Will Hurd (R-Texas 23)

6/12/2018

Will Hurd
The BIPAC Action Fund announced its endorsement of Will Hurd for his re-election campaign in the U.S. House of Representatives for Texas' 23rd congressional district on January 31, 2018.

The Texas 23rd is one of the biggest swing districts in the country, having flipped back and forth between Republicans and Democrats over the years.  Incumbent Rep. Will Hurd won the seat in 2014 by defeating the incumbent Democrat with 49.8% of the vote.  Hurd was reelected in 2016 with 48.3%, while Democrats had won the seat in 2012 with 50.33% of the vote.

This district is a large district that runs along the Mexican border from El Paso east to the San Antonio suburbs.  The partisan demographics of the district make it highly competitive and unfavorable to President Trump due to his immigration policies.

Rep. Hurd has compiled a strong record of supporting the business community.  It is imperative for the business community to support incumbents like Rep. Hurd in a cycle like 2018 when many center-right legislators are being targeted for challenges.  Rep. Hurd has come to D.C. to work and has done a great job in the process for growing our economy.

Young Kim (R-California 39)

6/7/2018

Young Kim
The BIPAC Action Fund announced its endorsement of Young Kim for her election campaign to the U.S. House of Representatives in California's 39th congressional district on October 17, 2018.

Young Kim’s career began as a small business owner and financial analyst. However, representing our area was always a calling that she would one day pursue. Her public service began more than 25 years ago, when Kim began to work for U.S. Representative Ed Royce, eventually becoming his Director of Community Operations.

Continuing to expand her public service, Kim was elected to the 65th District of the California State Assembly in 2014. Despite long odds, Young Kim unseated a fully funded incumbent to become the first ever Korean-American Republican woman elected to serve in the State Assembly.

As Assemblywoman, Kim was a champion for public safety causes. Kim championed a measure for protecting victims of domestic violence with her bill (AB 2078) that passed the Assembly with bipartisan support.

Continuing her community involvement, Young Kim has founded and continues to serve on the Board of Directors for numerous local non-profit organizations.

Leonard Lance (R-New Jersey 7)

5/29/2018

Leonard Lance
The BIPAC Action Fund announced its endorsement of Leonard Lance in his campaign for the U.S. House on September 4, 2018.

Congressman Leonard Lance currently represents New Jersey’s Seventh Congressional District and is running for reelection on a platform of smaller government, less spending, and real reform in Washington.

Having been involved in running a small family law practice, Leonard Lance understands first-hand the importance of eliminating red tape and regulations burdens on small businesses. He has been endorsed by leading business groups for championing policies that encourage economic growth, job creation, and a less intrusive federal government.

As the only New Jersey Republican on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Rep. Lance has voted to take full advantage of our Nation’s energy potential, supporting the Keystone Pipeline bill, ending the ban on oil exports, and stopping the Obama Administration’s unprecedented regulatory attack on affordable and reliable electricity.

Leonard Lance holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University, a law degree from Vanderbilt University, and a master’s degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs of Princeton University.

Prior to coming to Congress, Leonard served as a member of the New Jersey Legislature where he took on Govs. Whitman and McGreevey over borrowing without voter approval. Dan Lipinski
The BIPAC Action Fundhas announced its endorsement of Daniel "Dan" Lipinski for his re-election campaign in the U.S. House of Representatives for Illinois's 3rd congressional district on January 8, 2018.

"Rep. Lipinski is facing a tough primary challenge and, as one of the few remaining Blue Dogs in the U.S. House of Representatives, it is important for the business community to support lawmakers who have shown a willingness to work across the aisle no matter the party affiliation,” said former-U.S. Congressman Jim Gerlach (R-PA 6), who now serves as BIPAC’s President and CEO.

Lipinski’s district includes parts of the southwest side of Chicago, southwest Cook County, and northeastern Will County.  Now in his seventh term, Rep. Lipinski was first elected back in 2004.  He is a leader on transportation issues, the promotion of American manufacturing, job creation through research and technological innovation, strengthening Buy American laws, restoring fiscal responsibility, and honoring America’s veterans and seniors.  He has earned a reputation as a legislator who brings people together to solve problems, even during historic congressional gridlock.

Prior to serving in Congress, he taught American Government at the college level, including at the University of Notre Dame.  In the current Congress, he is one of just a dozen trained engineers in Congress. Lipinski is the most senior member from Illinois on the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee, serving on three subcommittees: Aviation; Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials; and Highways and Transit.
