The BIPAC Action Fund announced its endorsement of incumbent Collin Peterson for his re-election campaign to the U.S. House of Representatives in Minnesota's 7th congressional district on June 29, 2018.

Peterson is Ranking Minority Member of the House Committee on Agriculture, which has jurisdiction over a wide range of agriculture and rural development issues, including the Farm Bill, renewable energy, disaster assistance, nutrition, crop insurance, conservation, rural development, international trade, futures market regulation, animal and plant health, agricultural research, bioterrorism, forestry, and others.
Rep. Peterson has one of the strongest pro-prosperity records of any Democratic member. He is a fiscal conservative and a founding member of the Blue Dog Coalition.
