John Boozman
BIPAC Action Fund Endorsed Winner

Senator John Boozman was sworn-in as U.S. Senator on January 5, 2011. Prior to serving in the Senate, John represented the people of the Third District of Arkansas in the U.S. House of Representatives for five terms.

Prior to his election to Congress, Senator Boozman served two terms on the Rogers School Board, which is one of the largest school districts in the state. He established the low vision program at the Arkansas School for the Blind in Little Rock and worked as a volunteer optometrist at an area clinic that provides medical services to low-income families.

Boozman's campaign website states:
"As a small business owner for 24 years, I know the struggles it takes to get started, meet payroll and create jobs. Massive government mandates, such as Obamacare, only make the challenge more difficult.

That is why I support a pro-growth economic agenda. I will fight to rein in spending; reform our tax code so that it is fair for all; reduce the regulatory burdens imposed by government agencies; increase exports by approving pending free and fair trade agreements and create a new energy policy that allows us to use American resources that make us less dependent on foreign oil. The private sector, not Big Government, creates jobs."

Charles Boustany
With the retirement of Sen. David Vitter (R), several qualified candidates have come forward for his seat.  The jungle primary held by Louisiana this November will feature candidates from all parties and the top two vote getters will advance to a run off in December.  From this crowded field it is key to endorse early so as the best pro-prosperity candidate can make it in to one of those top two spots.

Rep. Charles Boustany (R-LA 3) has a track record in the U.S. House that shows his commitment to pro-business policies that reduce tax burdens and also promotes free and open markets.

Serving as a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee and as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversight from 2011-2014,  Boustany played a pivotal role protecting taxpayer dollars by rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse in federal government programs including Medicare, Medicaid, and in entities such as the Internal Revenue Service.

His campaign website states:
"Dr. Boustany helped lead the effort to put forth a tax reform proposal to lower individual and corporate rates, simplify the code, and improve American competitiveness."
