BIPAC Action Fund Endorsed Winner
In a district that is rated +5 Democrat by the PVI, Rep. John Katko (R-NY 24) will be in one of the most contested Congressional races this fall.
Since coming to Congress in 2015, Rep. Katko has supported an agenda that promotes trade and economic growth. He has also fought to reduce government interference and reduce burdensome regulations.
Katko embarked on a career in public service, serving first as a Senior Trial Attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and then commencing his twenty-year career as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice. Early in his career as a federal prosecutor, Katko served as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia and with the DOJ’s Criminal Division, Narcotics & Dangerous Drug Section.
His campaign website states:
"The national unemployment rate has fallen, but only because millions of frustrated job seekers have left the work force altogether. The labor market remains weak, and the proportion of adults with jobs has changed little.
