A new Quinnipiac University poll (2/10-15; 989 VA registered voters) finds former Vice Presidential nominee and current Democratic Senator Tim Kaine opening up a large lead in his bid for re-election. Pitted individually against former presidential and California US Senate candidate Carly Fiorina and radio talk show host Laura Ingraham, Sen. Kaine scores almost exact results. Against Fiorina, Mr. Kaine scores a 57-36% advantage. If Ms. Ingraham were his hypothetical general election opponent, the split would be an almost identical 56-36%.
