BIPAC Action Fund Endorsed Winner
Democrat Ted Lieu has prevailed in California’s 33rd district, as was expected. The district includes Santa Monica and Beverly Hills and was opened after Henry Waxman declared his retirement following 40 years in the House.
Lieu has a reputation for being constructive in the State Senate and ran on a campaign of humanitarianism and productive engagement with all sides of any given issue.
Lieu was endorsed by Sierra Club, BIPAC, and the National Education Association.
The BIPAC Action Fund endorsement was supported by the CalChamber and the California Prosperity Project, as well as several BIPAC members with operations in the district.
